Nestled in the heart of the Arts District, Millwick’s tropical greenery and open-air layout created a beautiful oasis amidst the city—making it an ideal setting for a celebration that was effortlessly relaxed, stylish, and full of love.
The day began with so much joy, from the moment Kristyne stepped into her dress, bathed in natural light and surrounded by tropical plants. Their first look took place in one of Millwick’s greenery-lined courtyards, setting the tone for the intimate and emotional ceremony. Surrounded by bamboo and warm, earthy textures, the ceremony space was the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt exchange of vows with their closest family and friends.
Afterward, guests moved into the industrial-chic reception area where long communal tables, market lights, and thoughtful details created a cozy and elegant dinner party vibe. One of my favorite moments was capturing their portraits against the bold murals around the venue and the vibrant DTLA alleys—a stunning contrast to the venue’s organic interior.
