Chelsea and Brad’s engagement session at the Griffith Observatory took place at sunrise, and it was absolutely worth the early wake-up. With soft, diffused morning light and almost no crowds, we had this iconic Los Angeles location nearly to ourselves, making it ideal for capturing romantic and relaxed engagement photos.
As a Los Angeles engagement photographer, I always recommend sunrise sessions at popular spots like Griffith Observatory. The architecture, the views over the city, and the peaceful atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for timeless, elegant images.
Chelsea wore a rich emerald dress that popped beautifully against the clean white walls and classic Art Deco design. Brad’s neutral outfit paired perfectly, making the session feel effortless and genuine. Whether walking the curved pathways or framed beneath the Observatory’s iconic archways, their connection came through in every frame.
These two are getting married this July, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day. Their sunrise engagement session was such a calm, beautiful way to kick things off.
