Nothing is better than when you get to work with a couple who has amazing chemistry and truly enjoys spending time with each other. Carmella and Bradley were just that couples, and it was such a pleasure to photograph their engagement session in Joshua Tree National Park.

I always start sessions in the evening close to sunset to take advantage of that amazing light that pours over the desert landscape during this time of day. Bradley and Carmella were naturals for the camera, and their love for one another was obvious the entire time. These two were so much fun to photograph, and it was clear from every shot that they were happy to just be together in such a beautiful location.

One of my favorite parts of the session was when we climbed up on a large rock formation and captured some photos with the vast desert landscape stretching out behind them. The view was truly breathtaking, and it was the perfect way to capture the beauty of both Joshua Tree National Park and Carmella and Bradley’s love for each other.
