Over Labor Day weekend, I had the pleasure of capturing Jason and Lisa’s stunning wedding at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Santa Ynez Valley, Sunstone Villa is a breathtaking venue that feels like it was plucked straight from the countryside of Provence—the perfect backdrop for an elegant, romantic wedding.

Jason and Lisa exchanged vows beneath two majestic oak trees, right in the heart of Sunstone’s vineyard. The golden California sun filtered through the branches, casting a warm, dreamy glow over the ceremony. One of the sweetest moments? Their beloved dog, Hemingway, stole the show by lying on the train of Lisa’s dress, adding a touch of humor and heartwarming charm to an already beautiful day.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed onto Sunstone Villa’s back lawn for a sophisticated outdoor reception. They sipped on local wines, enjoyed the stunning vineyard views, and celebrated under the open sky with the Santa Ynez Mountains as a picturesque backdrop. The decor was timeless and refined, with soft pink and blue accents that perfectly complemented the venue’s natural beauty.

With its undeniable European charm and intimate setting, Sunstone Villa provided the perfect atmosphere for Jason and Lisa’s wedding celebration.
