This year has gone by fast. Only a couple of months ago, I photographed Daniel and Liora’s engagement session in Newport Beach and then their wedding. I have really enjoyed getting to know them. They are sweet, thoughtful, and genuinely kind.
The wedding was held at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. We started the day with getting ready photos and quiet moments with family. Liora’s gown hung in the window with the San Diego skyline behind it, and her details were classic and clean. Daniel got ready with his friends, then we met in the garden for a first look surrounded by palms. It was simple, calm, and set the tone for the day.
Their ceremony took place three stories up on the waterfront terrace. They could not have asked for better weather. The harbor was a perfect backdrop. The chuppah by Arc de Belle featured fresh white florals by Alvaro Avila, with soft greens and clean lines. They signed the ketubah, shared personal vows, and broke the glass to cheers from family and friends.
The ballroom reception felt modern and warm. Black linens with gold accents set the tables, and the florals kept everything bright. Dinner flowed into a packed dance floor. The hora lifted everyone, literally. The energy never dipped, and the room stayed full until the last song.
Daniel and Liora’s day was elegant, joyful, and very them. It was a privilege to celebrate with their families from engagement to wedding day.
