When Drew and Claire, a sweet couple from Seattle, decided to celebrate their engagement, they left the Pacific Northwest behind and headed south to sunny San Diego. Their destination of choice? Balboa Park, with its Spanish Revival architecture, lush gardens, and perfect fall light. This location set the stage for a dreamy and elegant session.

Balboa Park is a photographer’s playground, offering a variety of backdrops, from historic buildings with intricate detailing to natural nooks hidden among the gardens. One of my absolute favorite locations.

Drew and Claire’s connection was effortless, which just made my job all that more easy. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand beneath the park’s grand colonnades or sharing a laugh in front of a cascading fountain, every moment felt authentic and filled with joy.
