I recently photographed Shaina and Adam’s engagement session in the stunning Joshua Tree National Park. This couple loves the great outdoors, and what better way to celebrate their love than being surrounded by the park’s natural beauty. We met in the evening to take advantage of the soft light evening light. Joshua Tree never disappoints with its unique landscape and whimsical feel.

Shaina and Adam were so easygoing and fun to work with. As we walked through the park, we chatted about how they met in college in Georgia and eventually moved to Southern California together in 2020. They have a beautiful bond and a shared love for hiking, so Joshua Tree was the perfect choice for their engagement session.

We explored the park together and took advantage of the beautiful light and stunning views. There’s something magical about the way the light filters through the trees and dances across the rocks, and Shaina and Adam made the perfect subjects for this natural wonderland.

It’s always such a joy to be able to capture the unique love story of each couple I work with. Shaina and Adam’s adventurous spirit and love for each other shone through in every photograph.
