Danielle and Livio’s Palm Springs wedding was an event for the ages. Set against the stunning backdrop of the San Jacinto foothills, the ceremony took place at the historic Casa de Monte Vist, a Spanish-style home with lush gardens that provided endless photo opportunities.
The couple wanted a wedding with a glamorous old Hollywood feel, and they certainly achieved it with style. The day was filled with laughter, love, and a hint of nerdiness, as the couple brought in references to their favorite movies and music.
Before the ceremony, we had a first look and took some pictures around the venue’s gardens. The ceremony itself was held in front of the stunning mountain view, and it was a magical moment that neither the couple nor their guests will ever forget.
After the ceremony, we took pictures with a vintage car in front of the venue. The wedding was amazing, from references to Star Wars and Indiana Jones to the couple telling the band to play “Nerd Music” for the ceremony and cocktail hour; they even had an impromptu first dance to the song “Yoda’s Theme.” I do have to say that it was the perfect evening with these two.
Overall, it was a perfect day with two amazing people. Danielle and Livio were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we’re thrilled that we got to be a part of their special day. Congratulations again, Danielle and Livio!
A Note From The Couple:
Jason captured the most beautiful photos for our intimate wedding in May. My husband Livio and I didn’t have the opportunity to do an engagement session, and our experience in front of the camera is pretty limited. Still, Jason and his associate Billy made us feel completely comfortable throughout the day. They were able to take the most gorgeous, glamorous shots of us, our family, and our venue, right down to the tiniest detail so that we can always remember how beautiful our wedding was. And they were just so FUN to work with, we had a great time that day! I can’t thank Jason enough for his professionalism, kindness and amazing photos. I’m so glad that we had the privilege of having him as our photographer.
