I can’t believe this was my first trip to Joshua Tree National Park, not just because it was my first time there. It was also because of the incredible time I had capturing Monze and Evan’s engagement session against the breathtaking backdrop of this desert wonderland. The beauty of Joshua Tree that is both awe-inspiring and captivating, and it was the perfect setting for this engagement session.

We started by exploring the park’s unique rock formations, some of which have taken on otherworldly shapes over time as if they were part of some fantastical sculpture garden. The light filtered through gaps in the rocks, casting a warm glow on the couple as we captured the intimacy and fun time. As the sun began to set, we moved over to the expansive desert and captured some photos of the sky turning a gorgeous shade of pink. We all were lost in the magic of the desert and the beauty of the desert.

One thing to note about Joshua Tree is that it’s not just Joshua Trees; there is much more to explore in the park. From cactus gardens to wide-open vistas that are perfect for any engagement session, wedding, or elopement, it’s a perfect place for some epic moments.
