Frequently Asked Questions

What is your primary style of photography?

My style of photography is natural, romantic, modern, artistic, and photo-journalistic. I strive to capture the natural moments between couples by taking a documentary approach with just a little direction. I have a very relaxed and easy-going personality that I like to think helps even the most camera-shy people to open up and allow me to produce amazing photos for them. Keeping things natural and fun is my goal. I will give you tips to help you look your best at the beginning of each session.

How long have you been a photographer?

I have been photographing weddings since 2008. In this time I have had the pleasure of photographing over two-hundred weddings. For all of these weddings I am the principle photographer.

How long after the event will my images be ready?

For an engagement session images are normally ready in 2-3 weeks and for wedding images typically ready in 4-6 weeks.

How many images will we receive and are they all edited?

This is a good question. You will typically receive approximately 80 to 100 images an hour. The second photographer option increases the coverage and total number of images an hour. The overall number of images may be effected by the events of the day, if everything is running according to plan you could end up with a lot more.

Where are you located? Can I book you for a wedding abroad?

I am located in Orange County in Southern California. I love to travel and a am willing and ready to travel for any wedding. I do offer some amazing deals for destination weddings and elopements. So please contact me today if your getting married far away.

Do you touch up and edit all the images we get?

Yes, I do edit every image that you will receive. All of my images are adjusted to my trademark style. This consists of color correction, blemish removal, and shine on skin reduction, still keeping the image natural, consistent and not over processed. Every image you get will be ready to print or enlarge right away.

What payment is required to book you?

I require a retainer of $500 for local weddings and elopements. For destination weddings and destination elopements 50% down is due upfront to book the travel arrangements.

Should I provide you with a shot list?

We only ask for a family shot list, we have a sample one we will provide you with. It helps family formal time run more smoothly and ensures we capture those family pictures you want. As for as a shot list for with staged moments, no.  The wedding day is so fast and crazy, if I'm looking down at a list I'm missing the moments around me.

Do you shoot video as well?

No. I just do photography. But I would be happy to refer some great videographers to you.
