Years ago, when I was starting out with photography, I worked with the bride’s family when I photographed her sister’s wedding at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, that day is still one of my favorite wedding days, I had such a wonderful time with the family and friends. So, when Kat contacted me for her wedding day, I was so very excited to work with them all again and see how their family has grown. Kat and Doug are two of the nicest people, I had such a wonderful time photographing their engagement session in the Salton Sea and their wedding day.
Kat and Doug had a boho-style intimate wedding on the beach in Oxnard California at a private home, it was beautiful, they had a perfect beach day. The ceremony was held right on the sand, throw blankets and pillows for guest to sit on lined the aisle as a barefoot Bride walk down to great her Fiancé. There was so much love as these two said “I do”. Following the ceremony, we jumped right into a reception activity, everything was set up more like a long cocktail hour, with guests standing and mingling as they ate some of the most amazing flatbread pizza.
As the sun began to set upon the day, I took Kat and Doug out near the beach for some photos of them, it was a perfect ending to this beautiful intimate wedding day. Congratulation’s Doug and Kat! It was an amazing day.
