I have always loved a beach elopement and Laguna Beach does have some beautiful spots for a small elopement. I recently had the pleasure of photographing Lorn and Romina’s small elopement at Treasure Island Beach in Laguna Beach. There is just something so authentic about eloping that I love, it’s more about the couple and not about all the production that goes into a larger wedding day.

On the day of the wedding I arrived at the Casa Laguna Hotel to photograph Romina getting ready and the first look with Lorn, this is such a great little boutique hotel, when I arrived Romina had some details laid out that she wanted to be photographed after she was ready, we did a quick first look with Lorn before heading over to the beach.  

We arrived at the beach for the Ceremony and found the perfect spot, unfortunately, the tide had other plans for us and we quickly had to change, but that’s one of the beautiful things about elopements is you can change things if you need to.  It was a beautiful ceremony with the ocean waves crashing in the background and few happy tears from the parents. It was a beautiful day and so happy I got to be a part of it, congratulations you two.
