Happy New Year, everyone! I’m excited to share with you the first engagement session of the year with Brian and Sarah. Who were awesome to work with, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year.

Brian and Sarah wanted a beach engagement session, and after scouting a few locations, we decided on the beautiful Montage Laguna Beach. The weather in California has been pretty unpredictable lately, and I feared we might be rained out. Luckily the rain stopped just in time as we started their session. And the dramatic sky provided a beautiful backdrop for the photos.

Brian and Sarah were fun, easy-going, and a pleasure to photograph. They laughed and joked around, and it was a pleasure to capture their connection on camera. I’m really looking forward to their wedding in March and can’t wait to see what the day will bring.

As we start a new year, it’s always exciting to think about all the new beginnings that lie ahead. And what better way to kick off the year than with a beautiful engagement session with two people in love?
