Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle and Dan’s engagement session at the iconic Santa Monica Pier. The pier is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike, with its colorful Ferris wheel and carnival games, but for Michelle and Dan, it held special meaning as the place where they had their first date.

As we walked along the boardwalk, Michelle and Dan laughed and joked with each other, clearly comfortable in each other’s company. I could tell that their love for each other was genuine and deep, and it was a joy to capture it through my lens.

We wandered down to the beach and took some more candid photos, capturing the couple’s natural chemistry as they strolled hand-in-hand along the shore. The sun was starting to set, casting a warm glow over everything, and it made for some truly beautiful images.

Throughout the session, Michelle and Dan were so easy to work with. They were both natural in front of the camera, and they had a great energy that made the whole shoot fun and enjoyable. It was clear that they were excited about their upcoming wedding, and I felt honored to be a part of their journey.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we wrapped up the shoot and said our goodbyes. I left feeling grateful for the opportunity to capture such a special moment in Michelle and Dan’s lives, and I know that their wedding will be a truly magical event.
